Developed healthcare systems are experiencing shortages in skilled clinicians and a surging demand for diagnosis. For example, in the US there are 11 radiologists per 100,000 people. However, this shortage is even more pronounced in other markets – Kenya has just 0.35 radiologists per 100,000 people. The increased demand for equitable, accurate and effective healthcare delivery requires complementary systems like artificial intelligence (AI) to provide human-aided diagnosis and help relieve some of this disparity.

We rapidly develop, commercialise and deploy AI tools that support clinical diagnosis. The tools are designed to provide diagnosis across a wide range of medical conditions. After all, what use would a spell checker be if it could only check words beginning with ‘a’?
A partnership model that addresses the skills shortage
Our ambition is to redefine what’s possible in healthcare, through AI technology. To work towards this at scale and speed, we partner with companies who have deep expertise and networks within specific healthcare areas, on a number of solutions.
Co-founders Dimitry Tran and Dr Aengus Tran with Sonic Healthcare CEO Dr Colin Goldschmidt
Each solution is based on the Harrison.ai platform and fuses our partner company’s data sets and frameworks with our technology, enabling us to rapidly scale up products and get them to the places around the globe where they’re needed most.
