annalise.ai wins ‘Best New Radiology Vendor’ in prestigious Minnies Awards

Update: Annalise.ai is now “Harrison-AI Medical Pty Ltd

annalise.ai has been named 2022’s Best New Radiology Vendor by Aunt Minnie. The Minnies reward the top innovators and pioneers in the field of radiology and AI was an important theme in this year’s awards.

Launched in 2021, annalise.ai’s first comprehensive decision-support AI solution, Annalise Enterprise CXR, is designed to help radiologists interpret chest X-rays, detecting up to 124 suspected findings and can also provide a notification of suspected urgent findings to a radiologist’s worklist, assisting clinicians to treat patients with the most critical conditions first.

“Plain-film X-ray has kind of been overlooked I think by a lot of the players, but we heard from one of the radiologists at I-MED there was a big need for diagnostic support for chest X-ray,” Chief Medical Officer, annalise.ai Dr. Rick Abramson comments.

This year, annalise.ai received CADt FDA (Federal Drug Administration) clearance for use in triage and notification of pneumothorax and tension pneumothorax on chest X-rays.

The Annalise Enterprise CXR AI model was trained on one of the world’s largest radiologist hand-labelled dataset of chest X-rays from Australia, Europe and the USA. The Lancet Digital Health published the results of the validation study in July, 2021, which was the largest study ever undertaken in terms of the number of findings concurrently evaluated.

Most recently, annalise.ai launched the world’s most comprehensive decision-support AI solution for non-contrast CT brain studies, which is now clinically available in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

“We have a lot of interest in developing a comprehensive solutions suite that extends all along the radiology value chain,” Chief Medical Officer, annalise.ai Dr. Rick Abramson comments.
